Dr. Dan Rusen DDS
Dr. Dan Rusen has been a valued member of Barstow Friendly Smiles for 8 years as our general dentist. Dr. Dan was born in the city of Constanta, Romania, and moved to the US when he was 13 years old with his parents. He pursued a genetics degree at UC Davis, and completed his DDS degree at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni. Dr. Dan met his wife, Dr. Tang, who is also our other general dentist, in 2011 in dental school, and married in 2016. He enjoys cooking, camping and hiking, and spending time with his wife and daughter, who is almost two.

Ruby Green
Ruby has been a valued member of Barstow Friendly Smiles since the office was first established as our regional manager. Ruby takes care of all front office matters for the office. She is highly proficient in her position, having worked in the dental field over 21 years. Ruby is proud to have been born and raised in Barstow. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and taking care of her grandbabies, of which she is blessed to have eight.

David Trochez
David has been a valued member of Barstow Friendly Smiles since the office was first established as our regional manager. David takes care of all back office assisting matters for the office. He is highly proficient in back office dentistry, having worked in the dental field for over 23 years. He has trained most of our assistants. David was born in Honduras and moved to Barstow when he was 12. He enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, traveling and riding his Harley.

Isaak Mathew Lopez
Isaak has been a valued member of Barstow Friendly Smiles for 4 years. He was born in Apple Valley but soon moved to Hesperia where he lives. He enjoys spending time with his children and going out to eat, his favorite place to go is Benihana. He likes staying active by playing basketball. Isaak also has a growing Twitch following, where you can find him streaming Call of Duty which he plays together with his brother and friends.
Adriana Yvonne Lash
Adriana has been a valued member of Barstow Friendly Smiles for 1 year. She started out with us as an intern while attending dental assisting school. She was born in Apple Valley but grew up in Barstow. She enjoys spending time with her younger siblings (one aged 16 and 13 year old twins), exploring new locations such as the beach, fairs, malls, or even staying in and watching a movie. She loves taking care of her pets - she has two dogs (one big, one small), hamsters and even a bunny rabbit.
Marta Guzman
Martha has been a valued member of Barstow Friendly Smiles since October of 2013. She was born in Orange County and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. She is blessed with 10 grandchildren, who she loves taking care of and spending time with. She enjoys driving up to Big Bear and enjoying the nice weather and the amazing views.
